Reported Activity:
Oregon Paranormal, and The Trails End Paranormal Society work in conjunction with Michael P. Jones and the Cascade Geographic Society on a program called “Project Ghost”. Project Ghost is the ongoing study of the strange phenomena that occurs down in the tunnels. The activity is documented and archived for the CGS on a constant basis. The types of activity experienced at this location exhibit the traits of intelligent, residual, and possible Poltergeist-stlye hauntings. The claims include full bodied apparitions, shadow figures, disembodied voices, footsteps, doors opening and closing, object manipulation, whistling, woman crying, hair being tugged, rocks being tossed, cold spots, cold breezes, pant legs and shirts being tugged, and the sensation that someone is holding your hand.
Our Conclusion:
Based on the amount of data collected through "Project Ghost" and the many personal experiences between our team, T.E.P.S, The C.G.S. and tour guests. It is in our opinion that a portion of the Portland Underground does indeed exhibit paranormal activity. Because this is an ongoing study of the location and its history, we will continue to update this page periodically with new audio and video as it becomes available.
